About CIP Homes

Proudly owned and operated by husband and wife team Catherine & Ivan Ponikvar. CIP Homes has been building in South Australia for over 35 years.

 

Starting out in 1990 building spec homes, then branching out a few years later into the project home market and building alongside some of the state's largest volume builders. CIP Homes operated numerous display homes across display villages in SA's largest developments, including Golden Grove, Oakden, Northgate, and Playford Alive.

Recognising the trend towards steel framed housing, CIP Homes established sister-company PreFab Steel Frames - one of only a few leightweight steel frame manufacturers in SA at the time. At its peak, PreFab Steel Frames was sold in 2021.

Most recently, CIP Homes focuses on building custom boutique homes, as well as cost-effective investor builds to maximise portfolio returns.
